The Pacific NW Chapter will award one $1,000 scholarship annually

Scholarship recipients will be given a one-year membership to the AIWF. Recipients will also be required to prepare an article for publication in the Pacific NW newsletter six months into their school year discussing their program and success.

Eligibility

  • A Washington State resident for at least two years
  • Currently enrolled in an WA State accredited Culinary Arts Program with a GPA of at least 3.0
Application Requirements
  • Application form
  • An essay that explains why you think you qualify for a scholarship award, and that includes your two-year and five-year professional goals. You should also include any significant achievements.
  • A resum&eacure; showing pertinent work experience
  • Current official transcript showing a minimum of two quarters attendance in an Washington State accredited Culinary Arts Program
  • Two letters of reference, no more that one of which is from college faculty or staff
The scholarship will be awarded will be based on merit. Applications will be reviewed based on the following:
  • Essay
  • Resume
  • References
  • GPA
Applications are available only from Culinary Departments at your school of enrollment

  • Currently enrolled in an WA State accredited Culinary or Winemaking Arts Program with a GPA of at least 3.0
The scholarship will be awarded will be based on merit. Applications will be reviewed based on the following: 
  • Resume
  • References
  • GPA
Applications are available only from Culinary or Winemaking Departments at your school of enrollment.
