Welcome to our Vermont Green Mountain chapter!

The American Institute of Wine & Food is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 by Julia Child, Robert Mondavi, Richard Graff and others to advance the understanding, appreciation and caliber of what we eat and drink.

We believe we enhance quality of life through this continuing education.

The Vermont Chapter is one of many across the United States. Along with our sister chapters and the national organization, we promote an exchange of ideas which through publications and programs benefits both professionals and dedicated enthusiasts.

Membership is open to all. It's a wonderful way to meet knowledgeable people, providing an opportunity to network with industry professionals or other consumers with common interests.

We encourage you to attend some of our events or simple get-togethers.

Click on the PROGRAMS
link above to find out what we're up to. If you live nearby or you are lucky enough to live in Vermont, do come and meet us for dinner after any one of our meetings, held several times a year. See Events Calendar for details.

If you travel elsewhere and don't have the pleasure of living in our beautiful state, see the national organization's web page for more details on the AIWF's mission, national events, and links to our sister chapters, but don't forget ...visit Vermont soon.

Of special note is our unique funding for our Culinary Scholarship.  You can help a Vermont culinary student simply by purchasing an award winning Vermont artisan cheese.
