This year's event features five South Florida Culinary Schools

Johnson & Wales University
The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale
Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts
Florida International University

Each competing for the standing pig award for best ribs and side dishes.
This year professional judges will decide the winner, and a People's Choice Award
will be designated for the best preparation of "pork butt sliders."
Each school will be awarded a scholarship, and the winners will receive special,
significant trophies and “bragging rights.”
