At the AIWF Krug Champagne Dinner at Addison at The Grand Del Mar, April 13, 2010 A SPARKLING SAN DIEGO WELCOME FOR HOUSE OF KRUG Unprecedented Krug Champagne Dinner Held at Addison on April 13 SAN DIEGO (May 3, 2010) – Southern California’s food and wine community had the rare opportunity to mingle with celebrated winemaker and patriarch Olivier Krug at a special Krug Champagne Dinner hosted by The American Institute of Wine & Food and San Diego’s highly acclaimed Addison at The Grand Del Mar on April 13. The first-ever event to be held in Southern California with France’s legendary House of Krug, the AIWF Krug Champagne Dinner featured vintages from the sixth generation Krug family, paired by Chef William Bradley’s contemporary French cuisine. The 30 guests included Sadr Amir, California director of operations for House of Krug; Lisa Lipton, AIWF National Chair; and Jesse Rodriguez, wine director for The Grand Del Mar. “We were honored to have Olivier Krug and Sadr Amir present such a legendary experience for our guests from San Diego, and personally, it was one of the highlights of my culinary career,” said Rodriguez. read more...
