In this age of fast and frozen foods, we want to teach school children about real food – where it is grown and how it is produced – so they can develop an understanding and appreciation of how good, fresh food is supposed to taste. - Julia Child, Days of Taste Founder
Quattro Restaurant is partnering with the American Institute of Wine and Food (AIWF) and Treasury Wine Estates to raise funds and awareness of The Days of Taste Program. AIWF has created a recipe for success by bringing the ingredients from local farms and local chefs to local classrooms. Days of Taste activities bring chefs and farmers into fourth and fifth grade classrooms to engage and educate children about the importance of fresh food and the journey of ingredients through daily life, from farm to table.
Join Chef Marco Fossati, and Quattro’s culinary team, on Saturday, March 24, for a special evening of food, wine and celebration. Quattro will serve a 4 course dinner, with wines paired, for $125 per guest all inclusive. The evening’s proceeds will be dir
ected to classroom programs in East Palo Alto’s Ravenswood School District.
